(Review) Sallys Beauty Brand Mini Eyeshadows

When I picked up these tiny eye shadows at Sally's, the last thing I thought they would be was well pigmented. I was wrong! These are so great for 2$ each. Not chalky at all, and they blend easy. Now they aren't amazing high end velvet eye shadows from the gods, but they are as good as you really need for a daily eyeshadow look.

I love how they connected to each other, like makeup Lego! That way you can create your own little pallet. I remember they had loads of colors, I am just a big fan or rusty eyeshadows.

In this photo I used the NYX white primer, and no primer. You can see how it looks good with and without. One thing that bugs me is when people act like shadows should look amazing without a primer. Eyeshadow primer is kinda like a bra for your eyes, you just need to have it there, or you end up looking it a bit sloppy. Again, theyre nice, shimmery, and blendable. You can see how the Wine color can look like a black tone, or just a dark red/brown one depending on how you use it.

Sallys is a bit out of my way in terms of location, but I will try out some matte cream colours next time I am there.

Chiffon Scallop Cut Tank from China Ebay

So if you're like me, you enjoy buying cheap clothing on ebay! You can always find neat cheap things, usually with free shipping, its a fun buy if you're an impulsive spender.

Usually these ebay sites are based in China, and use China sizing, so you need to size up, or pick items that will be accommodating for size. By this I mean its better to order sweaters or T shirts then dresses or blouses, which need a good fit to look correct.

I bought this black chiffon tank top for 3$ on ebay, and its bigger then I expected, which is good! But it is still pretty damn small. It is about 33 inches in the bust, and 22 inches long.
It fits like a women s size 0-4 or a women s small. I am a pretty standard size medium, and this shirts fits pretty well but it is a tight in the bust because I am usually a 35-37 in the bust depending on if I am wearing a foam-y bra or a lace-y bra.

I might avoid this if you're busty. One thing that is neat about this is that it is one piece of fabric. usually tank tops are two pieces sewn together, but this was cut out as one piece, so it is just sewn at the sides, and not at the shoulders.

It is sewn using a serger along the sides, so that is better then a plain line of basic stitching.

It took about a month to get to me from China to Canada. It might be quicker if youre in the USA though.

(Review) Sweet Cotton Pore Cove BB Cream

That name is almost too long! This is from Holika Holika, a popular Korean makeup and skincare brand. I wanted to try some real BB cream, so I head to ebay and picked this out because it was cheap, and the packing was cute.

It is between being mousey and just being a liquid. It comes in two different skin tones. I really like how it has SPF because I am ashamed of how often I go without sunscreen.

Its hard to put sunscreen into my makeup routine because my foundation is usually heavy as it is, I dont need more gunk on my face.
This has a light coverage, so It is good for the summer when you don't want to sweat everything off.

I love the packaging, the lid screws on well and I like how it can stand on its own. As you can see in the swatch, it is more of a yellow toned colour then a pink tone.  It blends in fairly easily without the use of a fancy makeup brush

(Review) Sailor Moon Sweater

I got this Sailor Moon sweater a few months ago after deciding if I should take the risk of ordering clothing from a china wholesaler on ebay. My issue with ordering clothing, is that it runs very small because the company's that make these pieces are typically Asian based, thus its made for shorter, more petite women.

Shipping took about 3-5 weeks, which is typical when youre ordering items with free shipping from China to Canada.

Its a very bright white, and the colours on the printing are also very pigmented and crisp.

 Its a very thick, and soft sweater. It is very warm on the outside. Great for winter! It fits like a womans small or Youth Womens medium (like an American Eagle Medium)

This is one of the most HQ item I have gotten on ebay. You can search around to get this for cheaper, but it will run for 15-30$ depending if you buy it now or auction.
